Position: UX Researcher

Job Summary:
As a UX Researcher, you will play a crucial role in understanding customer preferences and driving impactful user experiences. You will be responsible for conducting generative, formative, and evaluative research and providing actionable insights to support our teams at all phases of design and product development. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of qualitative research concepts and be able to work independently to deliver high-quality work.
Responsibilities:
– Lead a diverse research program to understand customer preferences
– Collaborate with product and design teams to develop research plans and answer key questions
– Identify the best methods for user research based on stakeholder questions, goals, and timelines
– Partner with quantitative researchers, product analysts, and UAT engineers to ensure data-informed research initiatives
– Communicate results and recommendations to cross-functional teams
– Conduct full cycle research, including study design, user research recruiting, moderation, analysis, and reporting
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Sociology, or a related field
– 3+ years of experience in User Experience Research
– Knowledge of qualitative UX Research methods such as user interviews, usability tests, lab studies, diary studies, and desirability studies
– Experience conducting full cycle research, including study design, user research recruiting, moderation, analysis, and reporting
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tests simultaneously
Nice to Have:
– Experience in quantitative data analysis and statistics
– PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Sociology, or a related field
– Portfolio demonstrating past deliverables, such as study plans and reports
– Experience with survey tools, such as Qualtrics and Survey Monkey
– Experience with remote user testing tools, such as usertesting.com, Dscout, and User Zoom
