Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Trade Analytics Manager to join our team and help us optimize our trade spend, improve promotional effectiveness, and drive smart, sustainable growth. This role will work closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Revenue Growth Management (RGM) teams to analyze data and provide insights that inform our pricing and promotion strategy across all channels.

Responsibilities:

– Analyze trade promotion performance across key retailers and channels (e.g. Grocery, Mass, Club, Natural, etc.)
– Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to evaluate trade promotion effectiveness and make data-informed decisions.
– Develop and maintain promotional ROI models and post-event analytics to measure lift, efficiency, and incrementality.
– Create dashboards and tools to track trade investment, promotion cadence, and pricing architecture.
– Support the RGM team in identifying white space, competitive threats, and performance trends.
– Partner with Sales and Commercial Teams to develop customer-level promo strategies and align on tactics for profitable growth.
– Work cross-functionally with Finance and Commercial Planning to establish trade investment guardrails and ensure forecast accuracy.
– Assist in evaluating and implementing future trade optimization tools (e.g. TPM, TPO, AI-based platforms).
– Help shape and refine OLIPOP’s long-term pricing and promotional strategies.

Qualifications:

– 4-7 years of experience in trade analytics, revenue management, category management, or FP&A (CPG experience preferred).
– Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, and/or SQL.
– Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including Power Query, XLookup, VLookup, pivot tables, and macros (ideal).
– Familiarity with syndicated data sources (Circana, Nielsen, SPINS, etc.) and retailer POS systems (Nielsen analysis experience preferred, Numerator ideal).
– Ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
– Passion for continuous improvement, curiosity, and a proactive mindset.
– Bonus: Experience using (ideally implementing) Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO) tools or offer testing platforms like Eversight.

Compensation:

$95,000-$110,000
