Position: Staff Software Engineer, Backend

We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in shaping our technical direction. You will be responsible for designing and implementing high-volume, high-availability solutions that meet the complex needs of modern financial platforms. Responsibilities:
– Shape the technical direction of our backend systems and infrastructure
– Design and implement high-volume, high-availability solutions for modern financial platforms
– Own and drive paved path/service standards and major DevEx initiatives
– Optimize CI/CD pipeline for backend deployments
– Utilize Kubernetes, AWS, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Pulumi)
– Implement strong code quality, testing, and observability practices
– Utilize Rust programming language
– Contribute to open and community-driven platforms
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in backend engineering with distributed systems fundamentals
– Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and optimization
– Familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Pulumi)
– Strong code quality, testing, and observability practices
– Hands-on experience with Rust programming language
– Demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms
Nice to Haves:
– Hands-on experience with TypeScript
– 1+ years of experience in a blockchain-based product
– Experience with Kafka/Flink/Spark or other data streaming/storage platforms
– Exposure to service mesh
– Familiarity with crypto/web3
