Software Mind is seeking a highly qualified Staff Software Engineer with expertise in React, TypeScript, and Next.js to join our team. About the Role:
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for full-stack development, utilizing your skills in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and SSR frameworks such as Next.js or Nuxt.js. Your main focus will be on writing high-quality code and collaborating with team members to share your expertise and knowledge. You will also work on client-facing web pages and flows, data integrations, and the design and development of new applications and features to enhance the customer experience. This role also involves supporting ongoing efforts to optimize the client’s end-to-end SDLC and contributing to architecture and design meetings. You will have the opportunity to drive various projects and support senior engineers, while also being a true owner of your work and an intrinsically motivated self-starter.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
– Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral (at least C1 level)
– 8-10 years of professional experience in software development
– 1-2 years of experience in a technical leadership role, demonstrating leadership and ownership of complex systems
– Expertise in React, advanced TypeScript, Node.js, and SSR frameworks such as Nest.js or Next.js (Version 13)
– Familiarity with modern web frameworks like Astro.js and a strong understanding of web performance optimization
– Experience mentoring engineers and maintaining high standards in code quality and development best practices
– Strong product mindset and the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives
– Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and design
– Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools, such as DataDog
Nice to Have:
– Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
– Experience working on a large-scale, organically-driven website
– Familiarity with data analytics tools and complex analytics schemas
– Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or other cloud providers
– Experience with Agile methodologies
