As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end user experience strategy for these critical areas of our platform. You will work on complex workflows and interaction patterns that need to scale seamlessly for teams ranging from small startups to Fortune 500 enterprises.

In addition, you will help elevate our Enterprise experience, focusing on capabilities like permissions, user management, integrations, and approvals. These features are essential for larger organizations with complex governance needs, and you will ensure they are both powerful and usable.

To be successful in this role, you must have strong systems thinking skills, enjoy simplifying complexity, and be excited about influencing the direction of a platform used by thousands of developers around the world.

– Translate complex, technical problem spaces into intuitive, testable UX patterns.

– Conduct and apply user research, usability testing, and data insights to inform design decisions and product strategy.

– Deliver high-quality design artifacts (user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity visuals) that balance user needs with technical feasibility.

– Work with engineering and product partners to ensure high-quality implementation and tight iteration loops.

– Collaborate deeply with other designers to maintain consistency across the LaunchDarkly platform and contribute to our design system.

– Advocate for feature management and enterprise user needs in platform-wide discussions and initiatives.

– Mentor other designers and help raise the bar for UX design craft and thinking.

Qualifications:

– 8+ years of experience as a product designer, ideally in technology-forward Enterprise SaaS software.

– Proficiency with Figma and other modern design tools.

– A portfolio of shipped work that demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, user-centered design processes, and impactful outcomes.

– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

– Lifelong learner, always looking to grow and improve at your craft.

– Able to handle multiple, complex projects autonomously.

– Great storyteller and presenter of design work.

About You:

– Team-oriented and able to collaborate across the company.

– A great communicator and advocate for the best user experience.

– A believer in the potential of technology to simplify, delight, and enhance our lives.

– Thrives in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.

– Motivated to achieve success both at work and in your personal life.

– Commercially aware and able to tie design to business objectives.

Compensation:
