Position: Sr. Database Administrator
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Database Administrator to join our Product Development and R&D group. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data management, quality assurance, and data analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Analyze business requirements and develop data models and data transformations for medium complexity use cases
– Write and tune stored procedures to implement business logic, with a focus on automation, efficiency, and error handling
– Hands-on experience in query performance and database tuning for SQL Server and MySQL Databases
– Collaborate with the development team throughout the entire development process, including analysis, design, development, testing, and support
– Work independently with limited supervision, demonstrating autonomy, proactivity, and independent judgement
– Provide in-depth analysis to identify and solve current and future issues
– Experience with both on-premise and cloud-hosted database solutions
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience as a SQL Server and/or MySQL DBA, with a proven ability to handle large datasets
– Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with data modeling, database design, and architecture
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in SQL tuning and database performance tuning
Requirements:
– Experience with OLTP and Warehouse databases is highly preferred
