Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Solutions Engineer to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you will collaborate with Technical Consultants and Service Leads to develop, optimize, and deliver client databases using Amperity’s powerful database generation and segmentation tools. This includes reviewing, optimizing, and improving existing SQL queries, as well as providing guidance on how our platform and tools can be optimized and enhanced.

Key Responsibilities:
– Take ownership of database creation and SQL performance and scalability within the Amperity platform
– Partner with project teams to prioritize, scope, and coordinate your workload
– Understand and provide feedback to Service Leads on customer requirements
– Implement production-grade databases and queries that enable highly-visible and valuable use cases for non-technical end-users
– Continuously stay updated on new technologies and approaches to problem-solving

Qualifications:
– 8+ years of experience in software development, software implementation, or professional services
– A broad technical skillset with a willingness to learn and utilize new technologies
– A creative and adaptable approach to problem-solving using technology
– A strong curiosity and desire to continuously learn
– Experience with relational databases, SQL queries, optimization, and handling large datasets
– Familiarity with Apache Spark and Spark SQL is a plus
– Experience with cloud storage technologies
– Knowledge of Databricks or Snowflake is a bonus
– Ability to work and consult directly with customers on technical items or issues

Location:
This is a fully remote position in CO, IL, MN, and TX.

Compensation:
– Base Salary: $132,000-$182,000. Individual salaries may vary based on factors such as business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.
– Cash Incentives: Additional cash incentives are available.
– Stock Options: All employees at Amperity receive an equity grant upon hire, based on their role and responsibilities.
