Position Overview:
Varicent is seeking a talented Software Engineer with experience in MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) to join our remote, cross-functional team. As a member of the Sales Planning team, you will work on developing cutting-edge solutions to revolutionize how sales organizations execute go-to-market strategies for unparalleled success. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team of designers, product managers, and software engineers, and contribute to a rapidly growing modern SaaS product. Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate on designing and developing web applications using modern web technologies and cloud-based deployment frameworks.
– Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to coding standards and best practices with support from the team.
– Test and debug software components to identify and resolve issues, ensuring reliability and functionality of the product.
– Contribute to improving code efficiency and system performance, with guidance from senior developers.
– Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of software modules.
– Focus on client success through creative problem-solving.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
– 2+ years of Software Development skills using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
– Experience with micro-services architecture, GraphQL, Apollo, Docker, and AWS (Lambda, Aurora, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, ECS).
– Knowledge of NoSQL, SQL, and OLAP databases.
– Passion for building high-performance, scalable systems in the Cloud.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Experience with test-driven development, continuous delivery, and continuous integration.
– Familiarity with React and Redux applications.
– Familiarity with event streaming or messaging platforms such as Kafka, Kinesis, or RabbitMQ.
– AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar accreditation.
– CEFR B2 level English proficiency or higher is required.
