Position: Software Engineer at Clarity Innovations

Role:
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Clarity Innovations. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing innovative products and contributing to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
– Develop, test, and implement software for Air Force-based products.
– Design and develop both front-end and back-end of software MVPs, components, and tools for mobile and web applications.
– Collaborate with team members to formulate strategies for rapid MVP development, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions.
– Adhere to plans, roadmaps, and software design strategies.
– Analyze and decompose requirements to create software designs that align with project goals.
– Optimize software designs and architectures for desired performance targets.
– Stay informed on the latest software architectures and trends.
– Mentor and assist junior engineers with troubleshooting, design patterns, and testing strategies.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
– Experience building modern front-end applications using frameworks like React.js, Node.js, and other JavaScript frameworks.
– Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and coding standards.
– Proficiency in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and problem-solving.
– Experience with JavaScript, Java, and preferably one more programming language.
– Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
– Eligible to obtain a minimum of a Secret clearance.
– Strong communication and general soft skills.
– Excellent time management and organizational skills.
– Ability to work effectively with remote development teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and processes.
– Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
– Experience with Scrum or other agile methodologies.
– Experience with Typescript.
– Experience with backend runtimes and frameworks like Node.js, Spring, Spring Boot, Django, Flask, etc.
– Conduct oneself in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
– Ability to give and receive feedback in a respectful and professional manner.
– A team player with a “can-do” attitude.
– Eager to learn and be mentored by more senior engineers.
