Position: Senior Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer

Company: Join a world-class creative team producing unique, suspenseful, and eerie storytelling content for a global YouTube audience. Our content is similar to MrBallen, Coffeehouse Crime, and Truly Criminal – with clean production, suspenseful pacing, and captivating storytelling.

Responsibilities:

– Edit 10-20 minute long-form YouTube videos using talking head content, B-roll, music, and light visual elements
– Structure cuts to follow clear narrative arcs, maintaining viewer engagement from intro to end
– Apply subtle effects, audio cleanup, sound design, and pacing strategies that support tone and story
– Work closely with scriptwriters, producers, and brand leads to align on story direction and feedback
– Design and animate clean, minimal graphics that enhance storytelling
– Create animated lower thirds, transitions, kinetic text, infographics, and UI mockups
– Develop motion templates and systems for scalable edits
– Integrate visuals that help explain complex ideas, emphasize key takeaways, or support voiceovers

Requirements:

For Senior Video Editors:
– 3+ years of experience editing long-form YouTube or documentary-style content
– Skilled in Premiere Pro with strong narrative and pacing instincts
– Comfortable editing from script or rough cut with minimal supervision
– Bonus: Experience with light audio mixing, SFX, or thumbnail strategy

For Motion Graphics Designers:
– 3+ years of experience creating motion graphics for video, social, or branded content
– Proficient in After Effects (or similar tools) with a strong sense of timing and visual hierarchy
– Bonus: Experience working in content with mystery, storytelling, or documentary tones
