Position: Senior Product Designer at Ontic

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer with a passion for solving complex problems and creating intuitive, elegant experiences for enterprise users. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the user experience of our sophisticated applications used by professionals in high-stakes, data-rich environments. This is an opportunity to design tools that drive real business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
– Lead the design for key product areas, taking ownership of end-to-end design for core parts of our B2B product suite from research and ideation to execution and launch.
– Collaborate with product managers to uncover user needs, workflow pain points, and mental models across complex personas and use cases.
– Translate complexity into clarity with user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed interaction specs based on user behavior.
– Design clean and powerful ways for users to interact with structured data, dashboards, and system alerts.
– Contribute to and help evolve our design system to support scalability, accessibility, and consistency across product lines.
– Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to iterate quickly and develop high-quality solutions that meet real-world business needs.
– Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of feedback, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
– 5 to 8+ years of product design experience, with significant experience designing enterprise or complex B2B tools.
– Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to simplify complicated workflows and data-heavy interfaces.
– Proven experience designing for SaaS power users in industries such as logistics, security, or operations.
– Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent) and rapid prototyping tools; bonus points for experience with motion design or front-end basics.
– Empathy for users combined with sharp business and technical intuition.
– Excellent storytelling, written communication, and collaboration skills.
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field preferred.
