Senior Full Stack Engineer, Inbound Email Product Portal – Abnormal Security
Abnormal Security is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team and lead the development of our Inbound Email Product Portal. As a key member of our Messaging Security Products team, you will be responsible for managing and improving Abnormal’s primary Inbound Email Security products, including our Threat Log UI, Dashboard, and Security Analyst Platform systems. Your expertise in full stack development and your ability to work independently on both the frontend and backend layers will be crucial to our team’s success.
In this role, you will work closely with our Engineering Manager and Product Manager to craft the roadmap for the MSP Portal team. You will also be responsible for owning key deliverables, ensuring product stability and scalability, and broadening our impact on customers by catering to a wider range of customer types. As a senior member of the team, you will also provide guidance and mentorship to junior members, actively contribute to knowledge sharing, and participate in professional development activities.
To be successful in this role, you must have a BS degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, along with at least 5 years of experience designing and building complex full stack web applications. You should also have 1+ years of experience as a tech/team lead for a team developing complex end-user facing features. Your skills should include advanced knowledge of React/Redux, JavaScript, Typescript, Python, and Golang. You should also have a growth mindset and be eager to increase your impact and responsibility over time.
While not required, having an MS degree in a related field, familiarity with our backend stack, and experience in a startup or cybersecurity environment would be considered a plus.
At Abnormal Security, we value our employees and offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $176,000 to $207,050 USD (or $195,500 to $230,000 USD for candidates in San Francisco or New York), as well as bonuses, restricted stock units, and a comprehensive benefits package.
