Senior Fullstack Developer – Identity Access Management (IAM) at Fullscript

Join us in building a better way – one that connects, completes, and has a lasting impact. We are currently seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineering team.
As a Senior Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining all aspects of IAM, including authentication, authorization, and identity. You will work closely with your team, engineering leads, product, and security stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with a small, focused team of full-stack engineers to build and maintain IAM capabilities
– Contribute to backend and frontend codebases with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security
– Participate in technical design discussions and assist in breaking down projects into actionable tasks
– Identify and propose enhancements to our authentication and authorization flows
– Support the maintenance and uptime of IAM systems, including troubleshooting and resolving production issues
– Work closely with product, security, and legal teams to ensure compliance and data integrity
– Stay informed on emerging security practices, frameworks, and technologies
Requirements:
– A collaborative mindset and a willingness to share knowledge and ideas with team members
– Passion for IAM and security, with a strong desire to protect users and understand the threat landscape
– Experience with authentication protocols, SSO (SAML, OAuth), RBAC, and MFA
– Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience
– Hands-on experience with modern web development technologies such as Ruby on Rails, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, GraphQL, and Apollo
– A commitment to writing clean, maintainable code and promoting strong engineering practices
