Job Description:
Softeta is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building data pipelines to ensure the accuracy and seamless flow of extensive datasets for one of our top retail clients.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design and construct data pipelines that meet business requirements
– Optimize datasets for performance and consistency
– Transfer data from Oracle to Google Cloud Platform
– Ensure data quality and maintain robust data governance
– Work with technologies such as GCP, BigQuery, Oracle, and SQL
Requirements:
– 7+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
– Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages like Python
– Knowledge of cloud platforms and their data services, with a preference for GCP and BigQuery
– Experience with Oracle is a plus
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
