Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Insights and Analytics team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in SQL, Python, and other analytical tools to develop data solutions that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You will create dashboards and visualizations to transform complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership. With a deep understanding of business needs, you will develop data products, tools, and resources to support experimentation, optimize customer experiences, and uncover new opportunities in the pet health industry.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct complex quantitative analyses to evaluate the impact of product launches, operational enhancements, and strategic opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations for high-level business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to identify areas where data can unlock insights, improve workflows, and prioritize key initiatives.
• Synthesize internal and external data sources to gain a comprehensive understanding of customer behaviors, operational processes, and partner dynamics, and translate findings into actionable strategies across the organization.
• Act as a strategic partner to leadership by evaluating emerging product opportunities, market trends, and competition to support long-term growth.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, preferably in e-commerce, subscription-based, or customer-centric industries.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, with a proven track record of working with complex data ecosystems and analyzing large, multi-source datasets to uncover insights that drive business impact.
• Demonstrated ability to lead investigative data work, from organizing messy operational data to designing robust analytical solutions that inform important decisions.
• Skilled in creating wireframes and prototypes for data visualizations, with a strong understanding of how to present key performance indicators (KPIs) and narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, including executives.
• Hands-on experience with Python or R, and fluency in visualization platforms such as Looker, Tableau, Mode, Amplitude, or Heap.
• Self-motivated and able to independently drive projects from problem definition to execution and stakeholder communication.
• Bonus: Experience with modern data stack tools such as DBT, Snowflake, and Mozart for building scalable data pipelines and transforming raw data into analytics-ready assets.
• Bonus: Familiarity with marketing analytics and customer data platforms like Segment, Mixpanel, and related attribution tools.
