Position: Senior Backend Software Developer (Remote – United States and Canada)

Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and databases
– Architect scalable and maintainable solutions for complex business logic and high-traffic applications
– Collaborate closely with frontend developers, QA, and product managers to deliver seamless, end-to-end solutions
– Conduct code reviews and promote best practices in software development
– Optimize system performance and troubleshoot production issues
– Ensure code quality through automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, and SOLID principles
– Participate in architecture and design discussions to shape the future of our platform
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
– 8+ years of experience in backend development
– Strong proficiency in C#/.NET Core and PHP (Laravel)
– Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration
– Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis)
– Familiarity with microservices architecture and message queues
– Experience with Docker and containerized environments
– Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment tools
– Understanding of software design patterns and secure coding practices
Soft Skills:
– Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
– Strong communication and collaboration skills
– Ability to lead technical discussions and make informed architectural decisions
– Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
– Thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment
