Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial analyst to join our team. As a Senior Financial Model Auditor, you will work closely with our team of modelling professionals to create, analyze, and optimize complex financial models. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our models while also driving growth and innovation within our company.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct financial model audits, ensuring compliance with client expectations and industry standards
– Utilize software checks and parallel model development to identify and correct any modelling errors
– Take ownership of specific assignments and projects, demonstrating initiative and dedication to producing high-quality results
– Contribute to the development and improvement of our financial modelling methodologies and tools
– Prepare comprehensive documentation of model assumptions, methodologies, and results
– Maintain meticulous records of modelling processes and methodologies to uphold our high standards and ensure consistency
– Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
– Collaborate closely with team members, learning and contributing to assignments
– Communicate model findings and insights effectively to clients and internal teams
– Simplify complex financial model issues for non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
– Strong understanding and appreciation of accounting concepts
– Familiarity with Project Finance concepts
– Excellent analytical skills and experience building and operating financial models using Excel
– Bachelor’s degree in a numerate discipline, with a postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance preferred
– [1-2] years of relevant experience in a financial analysis role within a recognized advisory practice or large corporate setting
– Familiarity with the FAST financial modelling standard is desirable
