Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data and Analytics Analyst to join our team. As the Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and supporting business intelligence solutions. This includes understanding the needs of business stakeholders and translating those needs into enterprise reporting and analytics, with a focus on internal compliance controls.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and support business intelligence solutions
– Understand the needs of business stakeholders and translate them into enterprise reporting and analytics
– Ensure compliance with internal controls
– Stay updated on key analytics and business intelligence trends
– Utilize data modeling concepts, such as Star Schema and Data Vault
– Have advanced experience with at least one DB platform (e.g., SQL Server, DB2, Oracle or AS400/IBM iSeries) and hands-on experience writing complex SQL and PL/SQL
– Experience with at least one ETL platform (e.g., SSIS, Talend, Informatica, DBT)
– Experience with Cognos Analytics is a plus
– Use cloud computing to build analytics applications in Azure
– Demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
– Familiarity with Agile development methodology is a plus
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar field of study (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)
– 4+ years of development experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company
– A solid understanding of key analytics and business intelligence trends
– Experience in data modeling concepts (e.g. Star Schema and Data Vault)
– Advanced experience with at least one DB platform (e.g., SQL Server, DB2, Oracle or AS400/IBM iSeries) and hands-on experience writing complex SQL and PL/SQL

Requirements:
– Role may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week
– Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 – 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
– Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time
