Product Designer – Blockchain Technology Company
Our client, a cutting-edge technology company leading the way in blockchain research and development, is seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to join their team. With a focus on scalability, governance, and decentralization, this is a unique opportunity to work with a team that values innovation, collaboration, and user-driven product design.
The Role:
As a Product Designer on a contract basis for 3-6 months, you will have the opportunity to shape and lead the design of one or multiple product areas. Your role will be crucial in identifying problems, uncovering opportunities, and creating world-class governance experiences. With a strong passion for understanding user needs, you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to design intuitive, accessible, and impactful solutions.
Responsibilities:
– Facilitating and structuring problem discovery and solution definition for assigned product areas
– Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align vision and concepts with business goals
– Conducting discovery initiatives to gain insights on user behaviors, needs, and pain points
– Leading cross-discipline sessions using lean UX approaches, design sprints, and prototyping
– Designing product solutions based on both qualitative and quantitative data
– Creating wireframes, prototypes, and design artifacts of varying fidelity
– Ensuring products meet accessibility standards and contributing to the design system
– Effectively sharing insights with teams to drive informed decision-making
Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced product designer with a strong background in complex products and user-centered design.
Must-Haves:
– Proven experience as a Product Designer or similar role
– In-depth knowledge of UX design best practices and frameworks
– Proficiency in Figma, Miro, and agile environments
– Experience conducting user research, testing sessions, and workshops
– Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and advocate for users
– Experience designing responsive, mobile-first digital products
– Deep understanding of accessibility and usability frameworks
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in fast-paced environments
– Curiosity and passion for understanding user needs
Bonus Points:
– Experience with Web3 products and technology
– Background in governance or fintech-related product design
– Ability to define success metrics and tie design outcomes to business value
