Neilson is a leading provider of direct life insurance products, with offices in the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, and Australia. We are looking for a talented Product Designer to join our growing team in Dublin, Ireland.
As a Product Designer at Neilson, you will be responsible for creating user flows and design solutions that align with our strategic goals. You will collaborate with our product management and analytics teams to gain a deep understanding of our users and the competitive landscape. Additionally, you will work closely with our marketing and content departments to translate marketing collateral into professionally treated and optimized assets for the web.
To be successful in this role, you should have 3-5 years of experience designing UX and UI for software, with a focus on design systems. Figma experience is essential, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a must. A portfolio showcasing your product design and design system understanding is also required.
This is a hybrid role, with occasional office attendance required at our Dublin City Centre office. The successful candidate will report to our Head of Design and work within a growing design team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our team by participating in broader design team goals, activities, and mentoring, including improving our Design System.
Responsibilities:
– Create user flows and design solutions that align with our strategic goals
– Collaborate with product management and analytics teams to gain a deep understanding of users and the competitive landscape
– Translate marketing collateral into professionally treated and optimized assets for the web
– Work on UX/UI design for our various brand websites
– Continually improve design quality across all projects
– Maintain design quality and adhere to brand guidelines
– Help develop and maintain consistent branding across various channels
– Explore and present fresh design experiences and insights to achieve challenging company objectives
Qualifications:
– 3-5 years of experience designing UX and UI for software, with a focus on design systems
– Figma experience is essential
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
– Portfolio showcasing product design and design system understanding
– Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and clearly articulate design decisions
– Emphasis on user experience and understanding of human behavior
– Sharp eye for clean and effective visual design
