Main Responsibilities:
– Work with a team of software/data engineers and QA’s to develop high-quality web applications from scratch
– Perform full-stack web development using Ruby on Rails (Rails) and React.js, as well as other technologies, to build scalable web applications
– Work on multiple different products and handle ambiguity
– Identify and resolve bugs
– Support current applications
– Follow the process for software development, testing, and deployment
– Ensure that assigned user stories (requirements) have sufficient detail to be implemented properly
– Have a sufficient understanding of user stories to provide reliable estimates
– Proactively seek learning opportunities to enhance skill sets and career growth
– Work with the project manager as needed to build requirements and understanding of software features
– Strive for quality code and not simply completing tasks
– Perform peer code reviews to ensure that code standards and proper architectural patterns are followed
– Make suggestions for improvements to the software
Minimum Qualifications:
– Must be located in India and willing to work from 7:00pm-10:00pm IST, at least three days a week
– 3+ years of development experience
– Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and React.js
– Proficient in both front and backend development and willing to do both
– Proficient in English (C1+)
– Takes proactive initiative on all projects with a strong sense of ownership; demonstrates curiosity and innovation, and instills trust in others
– Competent with several engineering tools to resolve complicated software defects
– Proficient in data management and database technologies, including SQL

– 15-30-minute screening with a member of our recruitment team
– 1-hour Google Meet/Zoom technical interview with one of our engineers
– 1-hour Google Meet/Zoom final technical interview with one of our senior engineers
