Position: Implementation Engineer

Harbor, a leading provider of expert services in strategy, legal technology, operations, and intelligence, is seeking an Implementation Engineer to join our Legal Technology + Operations practice. This role will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction through successful installation of Intapp solutions, improving business efficiency and functionality. As an expert in the field, the Implementation Engineer will play an active role in complex projects and model best practices.
Responsibilities:
– Assess client needs and install and implement industry-standard legal/accounting/consulting systems, integrations, and enterprise solutions.
– Provide leadership to all team members.
– Utilize advanced expertise in deployment methodologies.
– Act as the escalation point for complex situations and create effective solutions.
– Demonstrate high proficiency with products and features.
– Serve as the go-to resource for off-hours help and technical support.
– Perform upgrades and migrations to production systems as needed.
– Write reports and analyze data using SQL and cloud-based reporting solutions.
– Manage end-to-end implementation of software products and services, including scoping, planning, development, installation, configuration, deployment, and support.
– Communicate with clients and set expectations throughout the project.
– Assist with product rollouts and train end users.
– Prioritize and manage workload to meet client expectations.
– Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and participate in professional development opportunities.
– Contribute to team efforts and accomplish related tasks as needed.
– Provide design and architecture expertise for client integrations.
– Develop and implement integrations with various systems.
– Provision and troubleshoot on-prem resources.
– Populate cloud-hosted systems using REST services.
– Work closely with clients to roll out new software solutions.
– Deliver technical solutions to non-technical clients.
– Review and resolve complex technical support requests.
– Maintain 80-90% of time spent on client-billable projects.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
– 2-5 years of experience in a customer-facing software implementation role in a legal services/law firm environment.
– Experience writing SQL queries and understanding of relational database structure.
– Expert proficiency with Microsoft SQL scripting language.
– Competency in problem solving, customer-focus, communication, collaboration, organizational support, quality focus, and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Expert proficiency in technical areas such as XML, JQUERY/JSON, REST APIs, and Parquet.
– Experience with ETL concepts and bi-directional sync style integrations.
– Familiarity with Sisense reporting tool.
– Knowledge of legal systems such as Aderant, Elite, and iManage.
– Advanced knowledge in the legal operations and technical fields.
– Experience with Dell Boomi and Microsoft ADF.
– Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and other related tools.
– Experience with Azure DevOps or Git.
– Knowledge of Functions and connecting Azure services using Managed Identities.
