Our company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Game Design to lead our production quality, drive feature development, and shape the future of our game modes. As the Head of Game Design, you will guide and grow a team of designers, share best practices, and play a crucial role in evaluating and evolving our design team.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and mentor a team of game designers, providing guidance and support to foster creativity and productivity.
– Create an inspiring and motivating work environment to maximize team potential.
– Identify and hire talented game designers to build a strong and diverse team.
– Transfer best practices between projects to ensure high-quality design across all games.
– Conduct in-depth market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and make informed design decisions.
– Collaborate closely with producers and game designers to successfully implement design concepts.
– Evaluate new projects from a game design perspective to ensure their potential for success.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
– At least 3 years of experience as a Lead Game Designer in successful commercial projects.
– Passion for genres such as Idle Tycoon and deep, long-term player engagement.
– Deep understanding of system game design principles.
– Clear understanding of monetization strategies and principles.
– Experience managing a portfolio of multiple projects.
– Extensive knowledge of the mobile gaming market and industry trends.
– Excellent analytical skills and experience with game analytics.
– Ability to articulate and communicate a clear vision and ideas.
– Strong leadership and human resources management skills.
– Proficiency in English at B2 level or higher.
