About the Role:
The Head of Creative will lead and manage in-house, agency, and freelance creatives within the Brand Marketing team. This role is responsible for developing compelling, consistent, and strategic brand expressions for Equip across all channels. The Head of Creative will also collaborate cross-functionally to drive growth, awareness, and perception while efficiently managing resources. The ideal candidate is a visionary with strong operational strategy, values experimentation, and actively seeks innovation.
Responsibilities:
– Lead and mentor a team of writers, designers, and a creative coordinator.
– Refine and evolve brand expression across all channels, including digital, social, video, app, and events.
– Build and maintain scalable creative processes, systems, and tools to drive efficiency, accountability, and quality across creative projects.
– Strategically organize and allocate creative resources based on team capacity, budget, timelines, and business priorities.
– Translate high-level business and marketing strategies into cohesive creative campaigns while managing timelines, feedback loops, and production details.
– Partner with Marketing, Commercial, Clinical, and Product teams to align creative direction with audience insights and strategic objectives.
– Review and approve creative work to ensure consistency, originality, SEO alignment, and on-brand execution.
– Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
– 10+ years of experience in creative roles with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
– Proven success in directing creatives across design, copywriting, and brand development.
– Demonstrated ability to lead both high-level creative thinking and hands-on execution.
– Strong portfolio showcasing brand evolution, data-informed creative campaigns, design systems, and cross-channel work.
– Experience developing and optimizing creative processes and team operations.
– Experience with and understanding of SEO best practices to generate content that performs well in search.

Physical Demands:
This is a 100% remote position with no travel required. The role requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards, as well as talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
