Position: GIS Applications Developer
Contract: Long Term
Location: Remote (local candidates preferred)

We are a leading GIS solutions provider, specializing in creating custom applications for a wide range of industries. Our team is seeking a talented and experienced GIS Applications Developer to join us in our mission to support the state of Massachusetts with our advanced mapping and data visualization technologies.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain custom .NET location service APIs to support GIS-based applications and data exchange.
• Design and build geospatial applications using ArcGIS APIs, including ArcGIS Pro SDK and .NET Maps SDK.
• Contribute to the statewide geospatial strategy by providing services to support natural resources, economic development, social services, public safety, and emergency response in Massachusetts.
• Collaborate with state and local government teams to set GIS data standards and ensure consistent provision of geospatial services.
Required Skills and Technologies:
• Proficient in .NET, ArcGIS Pro SDK, and .NET Maps SDK.
• Experience with geospatial application design and data processing.
• Ability to collaborate with public and private sector teams.
Application Scope:
• Supporting emergency response, real estate research, environmental planning, transportation planning, and engineering services for Massachusetts agencies and stakeholders.
Experience Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience working with ArcGIS Enterprise, Python, JavaScript, and ESRI ArcGIS Pro > 2.9.
• Familiarity with Tableau/Power BI is a plus.
