Director of Engineering – IDIQ

Job Description:
The Director of Engineering will play a crucial role in IDIQ’s digital platform strategy. They will oversee the design, development, testing, deployment, and operations of our platform ecosystem. This role requires strong technical experience and the ability to lead design discussions and identify solutions that meet the needs of our company and members.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with Product Management to drive product delivery processes, from market fit to design and deployment
– Manage front-end and back-end development teams and projects
– Monitor and improve the reliability and performance of internal systems
– Ensure compliance with security regulations and PCI DSS
– Hire and train engineers
– Work closely with development teams to implement modern architecture and design patterns
– Identify and implement innovative technologies
– Establish processes and standards for system selection, implementation, and support
Qualifications:
– 8+ years of experience in IT operations and managing technology teams
– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
– Extensive knowledge of cloud technologies and human-computer interfaces
– Strong understanding of computer systems, security, network administration, databases, and telecommunications
– Excellent communication and leadership skills
– Experience with project management and Agile frameworks
– Hands-on experience with back-end and front-end development
– Familiarity with React and .net Core/Framework is a plus

Additional Information:
Position Details: This is a full-time salaried position.
Pay: The salary range for this position is $200,000 to $265,000, based on experience and location.
