BlueBolt, an award-winning visual effects company, is seeking a skilled Digital Matte Painter to join our growing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects.
Requirements:
– Previous experience working in a high-end facility, preferably in feature films
– Proficiency in Digital Matte Painting techniques using Photoshop
– Familiarity with setting up DMP projection cameras and geo in Maya and/or Nuke
– Strong skills in polygon modelling and creating UV layouts in Maya
– Knowledge of texturing using Photoshop or Mari
– Additional knowledge in lighting and FX techniques is a plus
Responsibilities:
– Report to the Lead DMP, Head of 3D, and VFX Supervisors
– Collaborate with the team, stay motivated, and follow project briefs
– Quickly learn and troubleshoot issues logically
