Overview:
Cambium Learning® Group is seeking Technical Assessment Data Analyst Interns to join our team for the summer. This is a part-time, temporary position with the potential to continue through the fall semester. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for comprehending client specifications and requirements and translating them into software and production-ready deliverables. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team setting.
Key Responsibilities:
– Understand and interpret client specifications and requirements
– Write Python scripts to perform data analysis and ensure quality of deliverables
– Communicate with internal and external users to gather and convey problem information
– Utilize remote collaboration tools to work with team members
Qualifications:
– Currently pursuing a master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or a related field
– Proficient in computer skills and ability to learn new software and hardware
– Experience with data analysis and Python programming
– Knowledge of pandas and familiarity with ReportLab a plus
– Strong communication and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work in a team setting
– Experience with SQL is a plus
Requirements:
– Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
– Willingness to participate in video-based interviews and virtual meetings with camera on
– Comfortable with remote work and use of remote collaboration tools (e.g. email, MS Teams)
