Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced intermediate C++ software developer to join our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing new features and functionality, as well as supporting existing integrations and services.
Responsibilities:
– Work closely with the implementation team to address client support issues
– Create, revise, and maintain core C++ software to meet client business needs
– Collaborate with team members to confirm project requirements and review software objectives, input data, and resulting output
– Identify and provide input on best practices and process improvements for program development
– Provide accurate task and project effort estimates
– Revise, repair, or improve existing programs to increase efficiency or adapt to new requirements
– Assist in training and mentoring new employees
– Offer input on system integration of third-party or custom-built solutions
– Ensure quality through testing and document program development and revisions
– Participate in on-call support rotation for after-hours emergencies and occasional weekend client conversion support
– Utilize internal resources and experiences to meet credit union requirements when developing software
– Contribute to design meetings and implement and maintain multiple interface modules
– Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
– 3-5 years of professional experience in backend software development
– Proficiency in C++
– Experience with software development in AIX or Linux environment
– Proficiency in XML and SQL
– Knowledge of relational database design and modeling
– Strong problem-solving skills
– Familiarity with credit union products and services preferred
– Experience with Agile Scrum methodology
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology-related field, or equivalent experience

Salary Range:
$100,000 – $123,000 (depending on geographic location, budget, and experience)
