Position: Content Designer at Our Future Health
Location: Remote (within the UK) or London office
Salary: Starting from £39,000 per year
Contract: 12 month FTC
Our Future Health is a groundbreaking health research programme in the UK, aimed at improving our understanding of diseases and finding new ways to detect, prevent, and treat them. We are on a mission to create a world-leading resource for health research, and we need a talented Content Designer to join our cross-functional team.
As a Content Designer, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering our Recontact programme, which allows health researchers to invite our volunteers to participate in follow-on studies. This involves designing and creating content that supports our user journeys, ensuring a seamless and accessible experience for people from all backgrounds.
Key responsibilities:
– Designing new content for our digital products and services
– Identifying appropriate language for communicating complex health topics
– Prototyping and testing content in collaboration with designers and behavioural scientists
– Using data and research to inform content design
– Ensuring all content is accessible, usable, and aligned with our brand messaging
– Collaborating with stakeholders to accurately represent complex requirements and processes
– Championing content design best practices and maintaining consistency across platforms and materials
– Writing high-quality content for various mediums, including website micro-copy, webforms, infographics, and articles
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Content Designer, with a strong understanding of usability and accessibility
– Ability to champion content design to diverse stakeholders
– Experience working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team and delivering measurable outcomes
– Experience creating technical or scientific content in collaboration with subject matter experts
– Strong data and research skills to inform content development
– Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
– Experience in the healthcare sector or non-profit environment is desirable but not required
