Our publishing division offers a flexible model that allows studios to retain full ownership of their intellectual property while accessing targeted services such as funding, localization, platform integration, and creative strategy. Our in-house marketing services use billions of first-party data points to create highly targeted, performance-driven campaigns.

Green Man Gaming also provides a fully managed distribution service, enabling our partners to increase game sales through a global network of over 180 third-party storefronts.

Role Overview:

At Green Man Gaming, data is at the heart of our business, and our Business Intelligence team plays a crucial role in driving our success. We are a small, collaborative team of five with diverse backgrounds and a shared passion for data, insights, and analytics. We value curiosity, continuous learning, and problem-solving.

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at a pivotal time for our business. This is a junior to mid-level role, ideal for someone with prior experience in analytics, reporting, or BI, looking to take the next step and grow in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.

In this role, you will work closely with our Senior Data Engineer and stakeholders from various departments, including Marketing, Trading, Engineering, Finance, and Fraud. You will be responsible for architecting data pipelines, automating business processes, building reporting tools, and delivering insights that drive critical decision-making.

To be successful in this role, you must be technically capable, self-directed, curious, and comfortable taking full ownership of your work from concept to delivery. You should thrive on solving problems independently, learning new tools, and collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

We offer a remote working environment, with regular team collaboration and monthly in-person workdays and socials in central London. If you are a strong communicator with a natural drive to explore, understand, and build, this role is for you.

Key Deliverables:

– Take full ownership of assigned tasks, managing your workflow and delivering independently.
– Proactively build subject matter expertise and an in-depth understanding of the business context.
– Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, define problems, and develop actionable solutions.
– Design and document data workflows and processes clearly and consistently.
– Build and maintain clean, reliable data pipelines using SQL, Python, and JavaScript.
– Ensure high data quality and integrity across systems, adhering to best practices and data privacy standards.
– Create insightful reports and dashboards using Looker to support business decisions.
– Identify inefficiencies, suggest improvements, and drive positive change.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone who demonstrates ownership, autonomy, and initiative. You should have:

– A proactive mindset – you are always looking for opportunities and taking action.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills – you can effectively communicate with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams at all levels.
– Proven ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
– Demonstrated curiosity and the drive to understand how systems and data connect.
– At least 1-2 years of experience in a Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Reporting role (or equivalent projects/internships).
– Solid knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases or data warehouses.
– Comfort with data analysis and process mapping.

Experience in the following areas would be beneficial, but if you are technically inclined and eager to learn, we will support your growth:

– Python & JavaScript for scripting and data pipeline development.
– Looker or other modern BI platforms.
– Working with cloud data tools, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
– Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and/or CI/CD processes.

Benefits:

– Flexible working.
– 22 days paid holiday per year (excluding Bank Holidays), increased with the length of service.
– 1-month sabbatical leave following 3 years of employment and 2 months after 6 years.
– Company Share Option Plan.
– 50% game discount for employees.
– Pension scheme.
– Company days & social events.
– Discounts and other perks.
