Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have subject matter expertise in the Financial Industry, specifically in Banking with a focus on Risk and Regulatory Compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of database management and SQL, as well as excellent documentation and analytical skills to produce process flow diagrams, business models, and functional designs.
Responsibilities:
– Analyze data requirements and identify disparate data sources required for consolidation and distribution
– Document functional specifications and coordinate delivery of the same with technology team
– Review logical and conceptual data models in alignment with business requirements
– Work with stakeholders to understand and gather requirements and produce business specifications
– Validate solution implementations and ensure they meet business and functional requirements
– Provide production deployment support and investigate data quality issues
– Work with various technology leads to bridge gaps in data completeness or accuracy
Requirements:
– Subject matter expertise in the Financial Industry, specifically in Banking and Risk and Regulatory Compliance
– Experience with database management and SQL
– Excellent documentation and analytical skills
– Proficiency in MS Office, with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis
– Knowledge of data tracing/lineage efforts
– Familiarity with logical and physical data models
