Role Overview:
As an Associate Java Software Developer at Callibrity, you will be a leader by example and a subject matter expert in your field. You will play a crucial role in leading strategic technical direction and will have the opportunity to work closely with key client stakeholders. Your experience and expertise will be instrumental in delivering innovative greenfield technology solutions that drive business ROI. Responsibilities:
– Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader to our clients in the tech industry
– Understand the big picture business problems and goals and take on leadership roles
– Mentor, train, and upskill both Callibrity peers and clients’ teams
– Solve a wide range of problems using the most appropriate solutions
– Effectively communicate complex ideas through verbal and written means
– Proactively identify and address problems, challenges, and issues
– Demonstrate mastery and teach best practices in software development (Agile, DevOps, Test Automation, CI/CD, TDD)
– Stay updated on new technologies, such as AI, Machine Learning, Cloud, and IoT
– Thrive in a collaborative environment with close interaction among different roles and teams
– Earn the admiration of clients as a reliable and dependable team member, regardless of title or seniority
Requirements:
– Minimum of 2 years of full-stack enterprise Java development experience
– Familiarity with Git/GitHub, Bootstrap, Gradle/Maven, or similar tools preferred
– Experience with SQL, JavaScript frameworks, Angular, React, Version Control, and Agile preferred
– Knowledge of Kafka and Jenkins is a plus
– Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform preferred
– Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and/or developing applications for a major public cloud provider is a plus
– Extensive professional experience in Information Technology and/or Consulting
– Successfully complete Callibrity’s CoderPad and Code Pairing Challenges
– Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence, maintain professionalism and accountability, and share knowledge and responsibility
