Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Data Researcher to join our dynamic Data Research Team. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in collecting, classifying, and reviewing data to support the content created by our expert editors. This will ensure that our readers receive accurate and engaging content to help them make smart financial decisions. You will also be essential in driving the success of our business by enabling us to publish high-quality content efficiently and effectively across various Forbes properties such as Forbes Health, Forbes Advisor US, Forbes Advisor international properties, Forbes Home, Forbes Business, and Wheels.

Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with Research Managers to gather and compile data related to financial products, health products, home improvement, entrepreneurship, legal services, education, and software as a service (SaaS) platforms.
– Conduct data cleaning and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency across research projects.
– Assist in maintaining data quality through regular audits and quality control tasks.
– Brainstorm and execute data research projects with senior researchers.
– Provide ad-hoc research support for ongoing or new projects within the data research team.
– Ensure data is entered correctly and in the expected format.
– Note any discrepancies, non-conforming data, or other issues and escalate if necessary.

Qualifications:

– 1-2 years of experience in data research.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
