RxAnte, a rapidly growing healthcare services company, is seeking an Associate Data Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time remote position with opportunities for growth and development.
As an Associate Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining systems to support RxAnte’s analytic products. This includes working closely with leadership to architect and implement data pipelines, as well as utilizing SQL, Python, SAS, and BI Reporting tools to develop programs for internal stakeholders. We are looking for someone with a passion for learning new technology, a strong understanding of data and its impact, and the ability to work independently on various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with leadership to design and maintain processes and programs
– Build and maintain data pipelines
– Utilize SQL, Python, SAS, and BI Reporting tools to develop programs for internal stakeholders
– Work with the internal team to establish and maintain best practices
– Document and ensure quality control with support from senior developers and managers
– Continuously learn new technologies to support team projects and needs
– Successfully manage individual projects and communicate any concerns or roadblocks
– Perform other duties as needed
Requirements:
– 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
– Bachelor’s degree in mathematics/statistics, computer science, health services research, health policy, public health, or related field preferred
– Proficiency in SQL, Python, SAS, or BI Reporting tools such as Tableau
– Experience with cloud environments, ideally AWS
– Experience with administrative healthcare claims data is a plus
– Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline is a plus
– Strong communication, analytical, and data quality skills
– Ability to document and gather requirements
– Familiarity with project management tools, such as Atlassian
