A Day in the Life:
As an Associate Creative Director, B2B, you will be responsible for the strategic and creative direction of all client work within a dedicated vertical. You will lead creative strategy and design, oversee production and post-production output, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth. You will be the face of creative for your clients, pitching ideas, guiding execution, and ensuring all campaigns align with brand, channel, and performance objectives. You will also be responsible for developing your team and evolving our creative capabilities to meet the demands of the ever-changing marketing landscape.
Responsibilities:
– Lead the creative vision and output for clients in a specific industry vertical, serving as the senior creative advisor and translating data and insights into breakthrough campaigns.
– Oversee all aspects of creative, from strategy to execution to post-production, ensuring alignment with performance goals.
– Translate data and insights into innovative campaigns that connect creative to business and channel objectives.
– Manage and mentor a team of creative professionals (Creative Strategists, Designers, Editors, etc.), overseeing 3-4 direct reports at the senior level.
– Foster team development through coaching, growth plans, and training initiatives, while also managing performance, retention, staffing, and promotion recommendations.
– Promote high-performance creative workflows, QA processes, and omnichannel best practices.
– Identify opportunities for client growth through creative-driven retention and expansion efforts.
Role Requirements:
– Previous experience as an Associate Creative Director, Creative Director, Design Director, Video Director, or Senior Creative Lead at a creative and/or media advertising agency.
– Demonstrated portfolio showcasing proficiency in conceptualizing, developing, and delivering creative campaigns across multiple channels.
– Senior-level mastery in one or more executional skill sets, such as Copywriting, Design, Production, Strategy, or Post Production.
– Extensive experience collaborating with and managing creative teams across multiple client accounts.
– Proven experience in a client-facing role, with the ability to present and problem-solve effectively.
– Deep understanding of creative best practices, strategy, compliance, project management, and team management.
– Strong ability to conceptualize original ideas and excellent organizational skills.
– Self-starter with a problem-solving mentality.
– Experience as a focused, strong, and empathetic leader.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
– Monthly Net Revenue Retention for Creative (as established quarterly).
– MRR Closed Service Expansion Retainer for Creative (as established quarterly).
– Average Client NPS of 8.8.
– Achievement of Division P&L Goals (as established quarterly).
– Team retention rate of over 90%.
