Art Director – Brand Creative
Constant Contact is seeking a talented and driven Art Director to join our team of seriously awesome individuals. As the Art Director, Brand Creative, you will play a crucial role in shaping and evolving our brand’s visual identity and creative direction. This is a remote-first position in the US, but if desired, you can work in a hybrid model from one of our offices in Boston, MA, Waltham, MA, Gainesville, FL, or Loveland, CO.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage dedicated design projects from start to finish, overseeing direct reports and their progress.
– Create functional and visually stunning designs that elevate our brand and set a high standard for creative expression.
– Translate strategic needs into exceptional design solutions for various marketing campaigns and channels, including digital, print, social media, and video.
– Mentor and guide a team of designers, providing constructive feedback and coaching to support their professional growth.
– Monitor and supervise the work of designers to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute creative briefs and proactively solve problems.
– Effectively present and pitch creative concepts to stakeholders and internal teams, communicating the rationale behind your designs and strategic recommendations.
– Foster a collaborative work environment and contribute to our design culture by promoting creativity and innovation.
– Demonstrate a keen eye for detail, craftsmanship, and time management in all design work.
– Work with design leadership to develop and implement design vision and strategy across the organization.
– Apply a deep understanding of our brand, marketing strategy, and creative direction to maintain consistency across all design assets.
– Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to keep our brand at the forefront of the market.
Qualifications:
– 8+ years of design experience in a large brand or agency.
– 1-3 years of experience managing and leading designers.
– Strong background in branding and graphic design.
– Experience in motion design, social media, and paid media is a plus.
– Expert proficiency in design software such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. Knowledge of After Effects is a bonus.
– Ability to generate innovative design concepts that are both visually appealing and intuitive.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of influencing and gaining buy-in from stakeholders.
– Adaptable and open to receiving and providing feedback.
– Passionate about delivering high-quality work and exemplifying creative excellence.
– Strong understanding of design principles and disciplines, including industry trends in branding.
– Strategic and conceptual thinker with a solid understanding of brand strategy, development, and execution.
– Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent.
Salary Range: $104,000 – $130,000 USD
