Art Director at FINN Partners: An Opportunity to Lead and Create Impact
FINN Partners, a rapidly growing integrated marketing and PR agency, is seeking a talented Art Director to join our creative team. As an Art Director, you will not only be responsible for setting the vision for campaigns, but also executing them. You will work on a variety of projects for our financial services clients, always keeping in mind their target audience, objectives, and business goals.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a versatile Art Director who understands that design is not just about aesthetics, but also about functionality. You will work closely with a copywriter to take ownership of projects from start to finish, constantly asking “What if?” to push the boundaries of creativity. While you take pride in your craft, you also understand that collaboration is key in this team sport. You are comfortable directing designers to bring your vision to life, while also being hands-on in design programs.
Your Role Will Include:
– Collaborating with copywriters to develop multi-channel creative concepts that align with client briefs and brand guidelines
– Concepting and designing for various formats such as websites, social media, email, video storyboards, sales collateral, presentations, infographics, data visualization, and branding guidelines
– Maintaining strong partnerships with cross-departmental teams, including production, UX, and social media
– Balancing creativity with efficiency by developing new content within existing templates or approaches
– Managing multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
– Presenting your work confidently and clearly, with strong rationale
– Staying connected and collaborative with the team, while also being proactive and independent when needed

Where Will You Work?
Anywhere in the U.S., with a preference for the Pacific time zone where most of our team and clients are based. We are a remote-first workplace, with optional in-office days available in Boston, Chicago, Detroit, LA, Nashville, New York, Portland, Washington, DC, and more.
You’re a Strong Candidate If You Have:
– A portfolio showcasing your creative art direction and polished design across a range of clients and industries
– 3-5 years of experience in a creative department, either at an agency or on the client-side
– Strong concepting and collaboration skills
– Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Google Slides, and a working knowledge of Figma
– Experience with video, animation, and illustration (a definite plus)
Anticipated Salary: $65,000-$85,000 (Commensurate with experience and workplace location)
