AI Intern – Formstack
Formstack is seeking two highly motivated and skilled AI Interns to join our team for a 4-month fixed term. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our company’s transformation as we strive to make AI an integral part of every role, team, and function. These roles are crucial in our evolution from AI-forward to AI-native and will have a significant impact on our organization.
As an AI Intern, you will work closely with our CIO, People team, and leaders across the business to accelerate the adoption, experimentation, and fluency of AI. This is a hands-on role that focuses on real-world use cases, workflow improvements, and driving innovation. We prefer candidates based in Denver or San Francisco, but we are open to exceptional remote candidates.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with our CIO, People team, and department leaders to drive AI adoption across the organization
– Create and maintain an internal library of impactful prompts, categorized by function and workflow
– Shadow teams to identify areas of improvement and suggest AI-enabled solutions to increase productivity
– Assist in creating onboarding materials, live demos, job aids, and training for employees at all levels
– Pilot and document real-world AI use cases that align with business priorities and drive innovation
– Help build excitement and momentum through internal campaigns, peer training, and success stories
– Track adoption metrics and gather employee feedback to continuously improve and iterate
– Stay informed about emerging AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini) and evaluate their potential for team use
– Contribute to a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and responsible AI use in line with The Formstack Standard
Required Qualifications:
– Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; or equivalent experience
– Google Cloud Certified in Generative AI or similar (or committed to completing certification before start date)
– Strong understanding of generative AI tools, prompt design, and how AI can enhance human performance
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts and inspire teams to embrace new tools
– Creative problem-solver with a proactive approach to experimentation and iteration
– Highly organized and able to work independently in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
– Enthusiastic about helping others adopt new technology with empathy and clarity
– Basic coding skills (such as Python or Java) to bridge the no-code gap or better integrate tools
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience in enablement, instructional design, or internal communications
– Familiarity with low-code/no-code tools (e.g. Notion, Airtable, Zapier, n8n, MCP)
– Background in workshop facilitation or content creation
– Exposure to prompt engineering or AI knowledge base development
