Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Kotlin/Java Software Engineer to join our Client Technology Tribe. This team is responsible for providing state-of-the-art security to our clients, maintaining and enhancing identification processes, and ensuring GDPR-compliant data processing throughout the client journey. You will also collaborate with our Marketing and Client Support teams to improve our communication channels and website.

Responsibilities:
– Work with a team of highly motivated software engineers and academics to implement change in the financial industry
– Utilize cutting-edge technologies and modern software development practices, such as agile methodology, continuous integration and deployment, test automation, and cloud-based infrastructure
– Engage with our cloud-native, DevOps-enabled infrastructure, utilizing AWS services like ECS, Fargate, and Lambda
– Write clean, testable, and well-documented code with a focus on security
– Bring products to production and deliver real business value
– Improve engineering excellence within the team
Qualifications:
– University degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent practical experience
– Extensive backend experience in Java/Kotlin, JWT, Docker, Spring, AWS, Git, GraphQL, RESTful API, and databases (SQL, NoSQL)
– Passion for well-architected, testable, and documented code and an agile mindset
– Strong analytical thinking in both technical and product domains
– Experience in complex software projects with end-to-end ownership building Microservices
– Practical experience with AWS or another cloud provider
– Excellent communication skills in English
– Previous experience with security and/or DevOps is a plus
– Background in the financial industry and financial software product development is an advantage
