About the Role:
As a Senior Product Designer at Samsara, you will be responsible for driving design and execution for strategic initiatives. You will collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to identify customer needs, explore design solutions, and deliver value. This is a remote position open to candidates based in the US.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead large, impactful projects and deliver high-quality designs that enhance customer experience and drive business results.
– Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute design strategies.
– Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback into the design process.
– Act as a mentor to other designers and contribute to shaping the company’s design culture.
– Champion Samsara’s cultural principles and help scale them globally.
Qualifications:
– 5+ years of experience in product design for web and mobile applications.
– Proven expertise in interaction and visual design.
– Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and the ability to solve user problems.
– Proficiency in Figma, including prototyping.
– Familiarity with AI tools for design acceleration.
– Track record of strategic influence and successful project delivery.
– Ability to effectively engage with customers for research and strategy.
– Thrives in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation:
Samsara’s compensation program is designed to offer competitive Total Direct Compensation (base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock units) that is at or above market rate. Top performers may receive above-market equity refresh awards.
