Lead Product Designer – 8am
About the Role:
8am is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Product Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and driving the UX vision and strategy across multiple product areas or an entire product line. You will lead and mentor a team of designers, collaborate cross-functionally with various departments, and play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction and user experience of our products.

About You:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or related field
– 9+ years of experience in UX/Product Design, with 2+ years in a lead-level capacity
– Exemplary portfolio demonstrating design strategy, organizational impact, and contributions to design culture
– Expert knowledge of design tools and research methodologies
– Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
– Visionary understanding and application of user-centered design principles
– Experience leading and mentoring designers
– Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies
– This position is preferred to sit in Austin, Texas.
