Backed by Apollo Global Management, we are on a mission to upgrade outdated copper networks to fiber optic technology, bringing high-speed internet to rural markets traditionally underserved by broadband providers. We are seeking an experienced IT Data Platform Architect to join our dynamic team and help us achieve our vision.
As an IT Data Platform Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing a cutting-edge data platform with advanced AI/ML capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a high-performance data architecture, implementing infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Ansible, and designing CI/CD integrations using GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins. You will also stay updated with technological advancements and proactively identify areas for improvement in our infrastructure architecture. Additionally, you will work with streaming data applications, possess knowledge of containerization technologies, and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
To be successful as an IT Data Platform Architect at Brightspeed, you should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with at least 8 years of relevant experience. Experience with containerization technologies and a strong background in data architecture with integrated AI/ML capabilities are also required.
