Job Description:
Sally Beauty Supply LLC is seeking a highly skilled IT Solution Architect to join our team. As an IT Solution Architect, you will be responsible for evaluating business requirements and developing software, hardware, and system architectures to meet the organization’s needs. You will also work closely with management, designers, and programmers to ensure the solution approach aligns with the organization’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
– Evaluate business requirements and identify potential software, hardware, and system architectures
– Develop strategies to address the organization’s system integration needs
– Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency by understanding data governance and quality standards
– Design a system integration architecture using agile processes
– Coordinate with IT department members to determine necessary hardware and software components
– Collaborate with application owners and users to understand their system integration needs, including data security and access requirements
– Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards while implementing system integration solutions
– Provide technical guidance and support to application teams and collaborate with other departments to achieve enterprise-wide goals
– Develop technical standards and best practices for system integration to ensure consistency and maintainability
– Maintain documentation on system integration processes, procedures, and standards
– Stay updated on emerging data integration technologies and trends
– Participate in data governance activities to ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulations
– Conduct data quality assessments and develop metrics to address any issues
– Manage technical components of large projects, as assigned
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
– Minimum of 7 years of experience as an IT Solution Architect, Data Engineer, Data Architect, Programming Analyst, or Software Engineer
– Must have completed a technology transformation project
– Experience with SSIS, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Performance Tuning, ETL frameworks, and XML integrations/transformations
– Familiarity with IBM MQ, BizTalk messaging, ESB application, .NET, C#, Tableau, Azure PAAS, SQL, Logic Apps, Data Factory, and Data Bricks
– Knowledge of data stores, data at rest, and unstructured data
– Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
– Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
– Excellent communication and documentation skills
This is a 100% remote position, but candidates must live within commuting distance of our office.
