Position: Business Intelligence Analyst

Role Purpose:
The Backroom Offshoring Inc., a fast-growing KPO company, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with expertise in Power BI to join our team. As a BI Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and managing data models, developing comprehensive reports, and performing predictive analytics to support business decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide data-driven insights to drive operational efficiency and strategic growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Design, build, and maintain data models to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
– Develop and implement dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor business performance.
– Conduct predictive analytics to forecast trends, identify risks, and uncover opportunities for growth.
– Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
– Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing best practices for data governance and management.
– Collaborate with Sales, Product, Development, and other departments to integrate various data sources into Power BI.
– Create automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
– Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions, ensuring they are performing optimally.
– Stay up to date on the latest BI tools, technologies, and trends to improve current processes and propose innovative solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
– 3+ years of proven experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role.
– Strong proficiency in Power BI, including M and Dax language.
– Experience in predictive modeling and statistical analysis using tools like Python, R, or similar.
– Excellent knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
– Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
– Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
– Understanding of machine learning algorithms and their application in business use cases (preferred).
– Experience with version control tools (preferred).
Work Flexibility:
– Work from home setup.
Work Schedule:
– 6:00am to 2:30pm Manila time.
