Position: Software Developer at Parent Pay
Parent Pay, a leading provider of parental engagement messaging, is looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our team. This is a remote position with the potential for an in-person interview.
As part of our highly collaborative and Agile development team, you will work with colleagues in the UK and India to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions for communication within the education sector. This role involves working at all levels of the software stack.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop responsive code using the latest web technologies.
• Create server-side logic with ASP.NET Core.
• Utilize Azure services to build cloud-based applications.
• Use CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Design and implement secure RESTful APIs.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
We are looking for someone with advanced knowledge in the following technologies:
Front-end Tech:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS & Angular, NodeJS.
Back-end Tech:
C#, ASP .NET/.NET Framework/.NET Core, WebAPI / REST API, Nunit, Moq, SQL Server, Entity Framework, MS Azure (App Services, Service Bus, Notification Hub, Web Jobs, Functions), IdentityModel.
Dev Tools:
Visual Studio with ReSharper, Visual Studio Code, Azure DevOps, Git, SSMS.
Other skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile team environment.
• Understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with secure web development practices.
