Responsibilities:
As a Senior Java Developer at TechBiz Global, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable Java-based backend applications for one of our top clients. This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension.
In this role, you will utilize your expertise in Java 11+ and Spring Boot to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. You will also design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures, optimize performance, and ensure high availability of backend components.
Additionally, you will participate in AWS infrastructure optimization and implementation, including centralized monitoring via CloudWatch alarms, multi-account structure setup via AWS Organizations, and security hardening. You will also work closely with DevOps/Cloud teams to ensure smooth CI/CD processes and implement cost-efficiency strategies.
As a member of a dynamic team, you will collaborate with German-speaking stakeholders and offshore team members in Vietnam. You will take initiative in planning, prioritizing, and delegating development tasks and provide technical mentorship to junior developers as needed.
Requirements:
– 8+ years of commercial experience with Java
– Strong expertise with Spring/Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and REST APIs
– Solid background in cloud-native development with AWS
– Experience with CI/CD, Git, and modern DevOps workflows
– Fluent in German (C1 level) for communication with stakeholders
– Proficient in English (B2 level) for internal collaboration
– Strong communication, organizational, and team leadership skills
– Experience working in agile/Scrum environments
