– Collaborate with Product, Web, and Growth Marketing teams to ensure proper set-up and optimization of campaigns using Google Tag Manager, GA4, and ad platforms. Connect anonymous events to customers to track the entire customer journey.
– Work with the Growth Marketing team to develop, refine, and optimize our programmatic budget adjustment strategy. Efficiently match variable labor supply to the budgeting process to attract the right customers, in the right place, at the right time, and at the right cost.
– Design and conduct A/B tests to improve the performance and efficiency of advertising campaigns.
– Partner with the in-house Marketing and Product teams to identify analytical needs and design scalable data solutions to drive decision-making.
– Develop accurate forecasting models for regional demand based on variable labor supply and adjust marketing budgets accordingly.
– Conduct in-depth analyses to identify performance trends, key drivers, anomalies, and optimization opportunities across paid and organic marketing channels.
– Implement experiments to measure the incrementality of ad campaigns and marketing efforts.
– Create and maintain robust dashboards and visualizations to help marketing team members and other business stakeholders answer recurring questions and act on business insights.
– Utilize SQL to perform ad hoc data analyses and develop queries.
– Develop and maintain documentation and best practices, ensuring data quality standards and governance processes are followed.
– Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Analytics function across the organization, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and strategic insights.
Qualifications and Experience:
– 3+ years of experience in a marketing analytics role at an ad agency, ad tech company, or in-house marketing team.
– Experience in driving paid media strategy, planning, and performance through first-party data analysis, decision frameworks, and learning agendas. Knowledge of statistical concepts such as experimental design, hypothesis testing, and regression.
– Experience with Google and Meta ad platforms and GA4.
– Familiarity with attribution modeling, media mix modeling, and incrementality experiments to enhance and validate investments.
– Proficiency in SQL, including CTEs, joins, and general best practices. Experience with BigQuery is a plus.
– Experience in designing, building, and maintaining data visualizations and dashboards from scratch using tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
– Highly organized with strong attention to detail, and enjoys creating and maintaining clean systems, processes, and operations.
– Resourceful with an ownership mindset and willingness to dive into the details. Experience in a startup environment is preferred.
– Independent thinker with a proactive approach to identifying weaknesses and opportunities, and proposing effective solutions.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a positive attitude and ability to collaborate with diverse personalities and levels.
