Job Description:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to be a part of our rapidly growing team and make a significant impact on the food delivery landscape. You will work alongside a team of energetic and motivated tech enthusiasts to provide intuitive technologies and create a wide range of software solutions for our customers and internal users.
Responsibilities:
– Develop high-quality software that can handle hundreds of thousands of requests per minute
– Research and implement new technologies and strategies to improve the scalability and speed of our services
– Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, DevOps engineers, and Tech leads as part of an agile team to build reliable systems and exceed stakeholder expectations
– Participate in code reviews
– Utilize modern software development methodologies and agile processes
– Experiment with new frameworks and technologies, and continuously learn and improve your skills
Qualifications:
– University and/or Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
– At least 5 years of experience in microservices development
– Excellent knowledge of a mainstream programming language (such as Go, Java, Python, C++, C# etc.)
– Experience with relational and non-relational database systems (e.g. MongoDB, Redis, Postgres)
– Familiarity with SOLID principles and software design patterns
– Experience consuming and developing REST APIs
– Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
– Analytical mindset with a sense of urgency and ownership in your work
– Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and concepts
– Passion for continuous learning and improvement
– Strong communication and collaboration skills (English is a must)
Nice to Have:
– Familiarity with at least one major cloud services provider (experience with AWS is a plus)
– Experience working in an Agile team
– Involvement with open-source projects is a plus
