Job Description:
We are seeking a talented API Developer with experience in ERP systems to join our team at Campfire. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure and scalable API integrations between Campfire and third-party financial/ERP systems. You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to understand integration requirements, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and contribute to integration best practices. Staying up to date with API standards, ERP trends, and new tools in the integration space is essential in this role.
Responsibilities:
– Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable API integrations between Campfire and third-party financial/ERP systems (e.g., AR, AP, GL modules)
– Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to understand integration requirements
– Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with speed and finesse
– Write clean, well-documented code and contribute to integration best practices
– Stay up to date with API standards, ERP trends, and new tools in the integration space
Requirements:
– 2+ years of experience in API development, with a focus on ERP or financial software integrations
– Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and common authentication protocols (OAuth2, API keys, etc.)
– Familiarity with ERPs such as NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar systems
– Experience working with AR/AP/finance-related modules is a big plus
– Strong debugging skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
– Bonus points if you’ve worked in a SaaS environment or love a good API challenge
– Amenable to work on a night shift schedule
